There is a production process for our company’s iron art sandblasting.Iron sandblasting is a common surface treatment method. The following is its general process:
Preparation work: Prepare the wrought iron products that need to be sandblasted, clean the dust, dirt and grease on the surface to ensure that the surface is clean.
Covering and protection: Use tape, paper or plastic film to protect the parts that do not need sandblasting to prevent the sandblasting material from affecting the part.
Sandblasting equipment settings: Place the wrought iron products in the sandblasting equipment, and adjust the pressure of the sandblasting machine and the angle of the nozzle as needed to achieve the ideal effect.
Sandblasting treatment: Use a sandblasting machine to spray sandblasting material onto the surface of the iron art product at high speed. The impact and friction between the frosted material and the surface of the product will produce a sanding effect on the surface.
Post-sandblasting treatment: After sandblasting, clean the wrought iron products to remove residual sand and dirt on the surface. Can be rinsed with water or dried with compressed air.
Inspection and Trimming: Check the sandblasting effect and trim and repair if necessary to ensure the surface is bright, smooth and even.
Painting or spraying an anti-rust layer: Depending on the requirements, after sandblasting, an anti-rust layer can be applied or painted directly to protect the ironwork and give it the desired color. It is worth noting that the specific process of iron sandblasting may vary depending on factors such as the sandblasting material and the shape and size of the ironwork. Therefore, before proceeding with the actual operation, it is recommended that you understand the instructions for use of the sandblasting equipment and seek help from professionals when necessary.
